9370 Students Applied for HSC Results Review Under Sylhet Board

HSC Results Review at Sylhet Board

This year, 9370 students applied for review of HSC results published under Sylhet Education Board, the highest amount of application submitted in 2013 then the any other years.

Known from Board sources, 42971 students participated in this year's HSC examination and 8971 students were failed among then in this year's result. But 9370 candidates are not satisfied with their succeed result and they applied to board for re-examine their answer papers of related subjects.

Till last date for review, on 13 August, the candidates applied for 9370 related subject's answer papers review in this year. In the year 2011, about 6436 applications were for submitted for reviewing related answer papers and 6000 applications in 2012 year. But the highest 9370 applications for re-examine was submitted in this year then the all earlier years. Among these applications for review, the highest 1149 applications for review English subject, 579 applications for Bengali, 605 for Chemistry, 490 application for Physics subject is mentionable. The candidates applied for 50 papers in 25 subjects this year. They applied for not getting expected GPA in this result.

The Examination controller of Sylhet Education Board, M A Mannan said, the amount of application for review related paper is the highest then the all previous years. The Board has taken proper steps to review these applied papers sincerely.
