IWFM offers South Asian Water (SAWA) Fellowships for M.Sc Studies

Eligibility

For admission into M.Sc (WRD), an applicant must have either a four year Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Water Resources Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Urban and Regional Planning/Environmental Science/Environmental Science and Management/Soil, Water and Environment/Geography and Environment/Geology/Disaster Management or its equivalent having a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or Post Graduate Diploma (WRD) or its equivalent having a minimum GPA of 2.65 out of 4.0 from any recognized institution.

Account Benefit In addition, all other rules and regulations of BUET regarding admission will be applicable.

Facility

Five full-time student fellowships will be provided for pursuing M.Sc. (WRD) (Tk. 20,000/- per month).

Fellows will have opportunities to attend regional workshops and form network with fellows in other partner institutions of South Asia.

Apply Procedure

To apply for admission and fellowship, an applicant must complete the online Application Form using the website: www.buet.ac.bd, and submit the hard-copy of the completed Application Form together with the supporting documents to the BUET Registrar's office.

Selection Procedure

Candidates for fellowship will be selected on the basis of two stage written examination/interviews, one for admission and one for fellowship. The schedule of examination/interviews will be announced within a week from the deadline for application and can be seen at the IWFM notice board and IWFM website.
