37 Candidates will Compete for Each Seat in DU Honors Admission Test

DU Online Admission Process Ends

The online admission process of Dhaka University (DU) for honors 1st year courses under the academic session 2012-13 has ended on September 22, 2012 midnight. This year, an average of 37 candidates will compete for each seat at DU from October 12, 2012.

However, Vice-chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique officially announced the ending of admission process at the central admission office of DU. But the admission seekers can contact with the university regarding any sort of problem till September 25, 2012.

Sources informed that, this year record number of students completed the online admission process. Around 2,36,436 students applied for 6,339 seats of DU. The number of candidates was 2,08,188 in last year.

Maximum applications have been submitted under 'Gha' Unit (Subject Change Unit) and 62 admission seekers will compete for each seat in this unit.

Moreover, 41 candidates to compete for each seat in 'Ka' unit while 18 candidates for each seat in 'Kha' Unit, 44 candidates for each seat in 'Ga' unit and 35 candidates will compete for each seat in 'Cha' unit.

The admission test of 'Ka' unit will be held on October 12, 2012 while 'Kha' unit on October 19, 2012; 'Ga' unit on November 2, 2012; 'Gha' unit on November 9, 2012 and 'Cha' unit on November 16, 2012.
