Programming contest 7 held at SUB

The SUB Inter-University Programming Contest 2017 was held at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB) on February 18, 2017 in its own campus.

The event was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. This contest drew many programmers for solving complex real-world problems in an exhaustive five-hour session.

Hundred and five teams from forty universities from around the country participated in the contest. The contest was inaugurated by Professor Dr. SMA Faiz, the honorable advisor of State University of Bangladesh. Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad from BUET led a thirteen-member panel of judges.

Account BenefitIn the concluding session, prizes were awarded by the Chief Guest Dr. AM Shamim, President, the Board of Trustees, State University of Bangladesh. Championship, First and Second Runner-up prizes were awarded to BUET Rayo, DU_Censored and NSU CookieMonster respectively.

Professor Dr. M. Shahjahan, the Vice-Chancellor-in-charge of SUB, expressed his satisfaction and praised the Department of CSE for hosting IUPC for the third time. Finally, the Head of the Department of CSE, Dr. Sayeed Salam thanked all concerned for making possible this grand assemblage of programmers from around the country.
