DIU hosted Bangladesh Summit

Keeping with the mission and the sense of excellence in the pursuit of knowledge, Daffodil International University (DIU) hosted Bangladesh Summit, Featuring Google for Education 2015.

The summit was take place on February 27 - 28, 2015. Mr. David Apas, Google Education Trainer from Thailand, Mr. John Gary Garcia, Google Certified Teacher from Philippines conducted the sessions focused on Google Apps for Education which includes knowledge share sessions on Google products like Google Earth, YouTube for Educations, Google Search, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Hangouts, Google sites, Google Chrome, Google Forms, and Gmail etc.

These events organized by the members of the Google Apps for Education community. This thrilling two-day event features on deploying, integrating and using Google Apps for Education was to promote student learning for higher education.

Account BenefitA total of 300 participants from 42 institutions in different categories including teachers, students and professionals are attending the summit. The attendees get a life time opportunity to evolve with most promising Google education tools and receive certificates and awards.

Presided over by Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University, the function was also addressed by Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-VC, Emeritus Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Professor Dr. Engr. AKM Fazlul Haque, Registrar, Professor Dr. Syed Akter Hossain, Convener of the summit and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Daffodil International University.
