The Ministry of Education has decided to allow the students with 70 percent of class attendance who failed test exams will be able to take part in the public examinations.

In addition, the teacher of concerned subject is responsible for students' failure in the test exams with 70 percent of class attendance.

The ministry is issued a letter about this by directing head of the High School, College, Technical and Madrasas.

The Ministry of Education thinks, some of the educational institutions prohibited the students who unsuccessful in one or more subjects in test exams to take part in public examinations to show the 100 percent pass rate or good result. Many of the students are deprived of the public examination for failing to take part in test exams due to the illness, natural disaster, accidents and lot of unsolicited facts, which is not desirable. So it should be insured that the student who attended 70 percent of the class regularly must get the opportunity to take part in the public examinations.

An education ministry official said, there are many educational institutions prohibited the unsuccessful students to take part in public examinations to show the better result. As a result, those students tried to take part the examinations under other institutions. Many students are deceived in this case. This is why the ministry insists on class attendance.
