The Civil Engineering Department of Dhaka International University has recently approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Currently, there are about 8 thousand students in the university. There are about 150 permanent teachers. In addition, renowned professors of Dhaka University, Jagannath University, BUET, Jahangirnagar and Rajshahi University are teaches part-time.

Authorities of the university have introduced BSc in Civil Engineering course realizing the importance of this course in the era of science and technology.

A separate campus has been arranged for Civil Engineering classes, although the university has several 15 lakh square feet campuses in Green Road and Banani. The course has started in an aesthetic building in a pleasant environment at Satarkul, Badda. Mentionable, the construction of the permanent campus of Dhaka International University is running there. Periodically the other courses will be introduced there.
