Applicants must have a strong academic background with a five-year master degree within Archaeology, preferably recently, or possess corresponding qualifications which may provide a basis for successfully completing a doctorate. Account Benefit

Applicants are requested to write a project description of 5-7 pages. The project description must describe purpose, topic, relevant theory, methods, empirical material and schedule for the project. The project wil be evaluated based upon its relevance to the museum’s current research strategy (for further information, please contact kristin.a.oma-at-uis.no).

The appointee must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team and be creative and innovative. The research fellow must have both a good command of both oral and written English.
