Farewell ceremony held at VU

Farewell and certificate giving ceremony for the first batch Bachelor course students of Varendra University (VU) was held at Cookieser Restaurant in Rajshahi on October 16, 2016.

Varendra University Board of Trustees Chairman Hafizur Rahman Khan was present as the chief guest at the program. Advisor Varendra University Professor Dr. M. Saidur Rahman Khan was the special guest. The program was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of Varendra University Professor Dr. M. Osman Gani Talukder.

Secretary General of the Board of Trustees AKM Kamrujjaman Khan, members- Kamrun Rahman Khan, Mohammad Ali Deen, Syndicate member Professor Dr. SA Haider, member of the Academic Council Professor Sanjib Kumar Saha, Pro-VC of the University Professor Dr. Nurul Hossain Chowdhury, executive director Md. Shamim Ahsan Parvez were also attended the program among others.

Account BenefitAt the beginning of ceremony, the leaving Honors students handed flowers to the guests. Later, chairman of the Board of Trustees Hafizur Rahman Khan spoke to the guests and leaving students.

Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan handed over crests and certificates to the students as a memory. Moreover, best students of three faculties were awarded "Chairman Award". A total of 43 students received the farewell reception at the program.
