The curriculum of education changes every day and the demands increasing for Business and related courses. That's why the MBA degree is now becoming a time-befitting demand.

Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration. The MBA degree originated in the United States in the late 19th century as the country industrialized and companies sought scientific approaches to management.

The core courses in an MBA program introduces the different areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources and operations management; and many programs include elective courses.

Bangladesh is one of the first countries in Asia to offer MBA degree. There are now more than 50 business schools in Bangladesh offering the MBA, predominantly targeting graduates without any work experience.

Most MBA's are two years full-time. There is little use of GMAT. The Business Schools conduct their own admission tests instead. The medium of teaching is English.

Sonargaon University (SU) started its journey with the aim of creating skilled manpower. The main campus of the university authorized by University Grants Commission and Ministry of Education located in Kawranbazar.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a relevant undergraduate degree from any recognized university/institute with GPA of 2.50 or above on a scale of 4.00 or a relevant bachelor degree with at least second division.

Some students may be required to complete some additional preparatory courses at SU before they start their Master's programs. Different departments may have some additional requirements.
