Dr. Kanti, first VC of CBIU

Former VC of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Dr. Shyamal Kanti Biswas will be appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Cox's Bazar International University (CBIU) situated at the most South-Eastern district of Bangladesh, Cox's Bazar.

In February 2014, he will take charge of the organization, informed university authorities. Meanwhile on 14th January 2014, a meeting was held for the Founder of the university, Trustee Board members and policy makers of academic activities of the university.

Dr. Shyamal Kanti Biswas, Proposed Vice-Chancellor of the university; Treasurer, Professor Manjurul Haque; the founder of the university, Professor Lion Mujibur Rahman; Trustee Adviser, Sadat Jaman Khan & ASM Saifur Rahman; former Deputy Registrar of Chittagong University, AKM Fazlul Haque Pasha and Coordinator, Md. Jashim Uddin attends at the meeting held at the conference room of the University.
