a. Have at least a four-year bachelor’s degree, with an outstanding academic record (preferably first class); those holding Bangladeshi master’s degrees are also eligible.
b. Not have degree from a U.S. university or be enrolled in a U.S. degree program.
c. Not hold a master’s degree from any third country.
d.Have at least two years full-time professional experience.
e.Have relevant degrees or professional experience in their proposed field of study.
f. Be between 24 – 30 years old.
Be fluent in English.
g. Be in good health.
h. Be Bangladeshi citizens residing in Bangladesh at the time of application.
i. Agree to return to Bangladesh on completion of studies in the U.S.
j. Be willing to refund the cost of the return ticket if they return home before completion of the degree.
All candidates will need to take TOEFL/GRE/GMAT tests by October 1, 2012.
Candidates are advised to prepare well in advance to be able to secure a competitive score

The American Center, U.S. Embassy, Dhaka is pleased to announce that the United States government will offer several two-year grants for a fully-funded master’s degree in the U.S. through the Fulbright Foreign Student Program. Preferred candidates include junior faculty from Bangladeshi universities and junior to mid-level employees of research organizations, think tanks, NGOs, and other related organizations.
