HSTU Gets New VC
|
Professor M Ruhul Amin, dean of Agro-Industrial and Food Process Engineering faculty of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur, has been made Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the university.
President and chancellor of the university M Zillur Rahman appointed him for a term of four-year, according to a notification of Education Ministry on September 27, 2012.
Ruhul Amin had also served as the acting VC of the university for one year in 2007.
Born in Dinajpur Sadar upzila in 1953, Ruhul Amin had obtained his BSc engineering degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University and post-graduation degree from Cranfield University, UK.
