Admission process of MBBS & BDS admission test for the academic session 2012-13 will begin very soon. Health Ministry has begun their preparation to start the admission process as soon as possible. The admission test now will be held in the 2nd or 3rd week of October, 2012.
It was delayed for 3 weeks because of admission seekers protest against the government decision.
The admission seekers started the demonstration after the government on August 12, 2012 decided that there would be no admission tests for public and private medical colleges this year.
The High Court on August 27, 2012 issued a split verdict on a petition filed seeking its directives on the government to immediately start the admission process at medical and dental colleges by holding a test.
Sources informed that, some detective organizations were monitoring the protest of MBBS & BDS admission seekers. According to their report, medical coaching centers were functioning behind the protest. They used the general students to pressurize the government for withdrawal of the new medical admission system declared by the government.
Sources also informed that, some of these coaching centers are also related with the leak of medical admission test question. So government will take necessary steps to monitor the activities of the coaching centers during the admission process.
Owners of coaching centers used a lot of money in the protest so that their coaching business couldn't be shutted down by the government & they won against the government and achieved their targets by using soft minded admission seeker students.
