CU student stabbed to death
|
A student of Chittagong University (CU) was stabbed
to death in front of his uncle's residence in East Firoz
Shah Colony in the port city early yesterday.
A group of miscreants stabbed Tauhidul Islam, 25,
as he was returning to his uncle's house after reading
Tarabi prayers.
Tauhidul, who hails from Ichhapur in Mirsarai
upazila, was a student of Islamic Studies
Department of CU.
The victim's uncle Kamaluddin Bhuiyan told The
Daily Star that after hearing screams they rushed
outside to find Tauhidul with stab wounds lying on
the road.
Tauhidul was rushed to Chittagong Medical
College Hospital where he was declared dead.
