Admission Test Committee Forms after Eid

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) authority will hold a meeting of the academic council after Eid-ul-Fitr on the holding of 1st year honors admission test for the academic session 2012-13.
The university syndicate at a meeting on August 7, 2012 afternoon decided to hold the meeting to set up an admission test committee for honors admission test with academic council members.
The meeting was presided over by the vice-chancellor of BUET SM Nazrul Islam, who also handed over copies of the injunction of the High Court to syndicate members which was ordered on teachers' protests.
'There is no crisis in the university after the High Court on July 31 ordered the injunction against teachers' protests,' said BUET VC about the current stalemate situation at BUET.
It is mentionable that, the teachers of BUET, demanding removal of the vice-chancellor and the pro-vice-chancellor, started their demonstrations on July 11, 2012 after the vice-chancellor had closed the university for 44 days as he was unable to keep off the teachers from protest.
