JU Deans' Election on Aug 28, 2012

The Jahangirnagar University (JU) authority has rescheduled deans' election for four of the six faculties to August 28, 2012.
Deans' election for the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Mathematical & Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences will be held at Teachers' Club from 9:00am to 1:30pm on the new date.
Eight teachers from different faculties will contest under the two opposing panels of "Samonnito Shikkhak Parishad" and former JU vice-chancellor Professor Shariff Enamul Kabir backed "Bangabandhur Adorsho O Muktijuddher Chetonay Bishshashi Shikkhak Samaj".
The deans' election of different faculties of JU was postponed on August 2, 2012 for an indefinite period due to unavoidable circumstances on the campus.
