Kushtia Medical College authority has decided to name two halls after two of its students who drowned in the River Gorai on July 27, 2012.
The decision was taken in a meeting of academic board on August 2, 2012.
However, the investigation committee formed to investigate the drowning of two students sought one month time. Earlier, the committee was asked to submit report within 10 days. Khondoker Mohammad Ali, Assistant Professor of Medicine Department is the chief of the committee.
It is informed that, the male hostel will be named after Faridul Hasan and the female hostel will be named after Rifat Mojumder.
