CVASU Introduces Fisheries Faculty

Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) has introduced a new faculty named 'Fisheries Faculty'.

CVASU treasurer Professor Dr. Sumen Dewan has been given the additional charge of the faculty which will enroll 50 students from academic session 2012-2013.

University Grants Commission (UGC) has already approved appointment of 18 teachers, employees and other staffs for the faculty.

CVASU now has a total of three faculties.

CVASU is established by the act of the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on 07 August, 2006 in order to confer 5 years Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and higher degrees on various subjects.
