KU Authority Decides to Recover Land
|
Khulna University (KU) authority has decided to recover their inner land. Authority has also decided to set up barbed wire around the KU area.
This decision was taken in a meeting held on July 29, 2012 chaired by KU VC Professor Dr. Md. Saifuddin Shah. Pro-VC, Deans and senior professors of the university were also present in that meeting.
A 6-member committee has also been formed to supervise the overall activities related to the area wall. Pro-VC Professor Dr. Md. Fayekuzzaman has been made the president of the committee.
Other members of the committee are - Professor Dr. Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Dean of Science, Engineering and Technology School; Shahnewaz Nazimuddin Ahmed, Dean (acting) of Social Science School; Professor AK Fazlul Haq and Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rakib. Moreover, SM Golam Hayder, Sub-registrar of Estate division has been made the member secretary of the committee.
