SUST VC Condolence Humayun Ahmed's Death

The Vice Chancellor of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) Prof Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin expressed deep shock on July 22, 2012 at the death of celebrated writer and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed.
In a condolence message Vice Chancellor said, "The country lost a noted writer at the death of Humayun Ahmed and the countrymen would remember him forever for his immense contribution to the nation."
Vice Chancellor prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family members.
However, leading film based organization of the university Chokh Film Society (CFS) arranged mourning rally while students and teachers of the different departments took part spontaneously.
In the condolence meeting Treasurer of SUST Md. Elias Uddin Biswas, Proctor Himadri Sekhar Roy, Assistant Prof of department of English Md. Shafiqul Islam, Lecturer of department of Computer Science & Engineering Abu Awal Shoyeb, Lecturer of department of Bangla Dr. Jafir Setu were present.
It is mentionable that, Writer Humayun Ahmed, who was battling against cancer at Bellevue Hospital in New York, died at 11:30pm on July 19, 2012 at the age of 64.
