Infuriation at Math Dept of KU

For recommending a candidate to appoint at mathematics department who was rejected by the chancellor, infuriation has been created at the following department of Khulna University (KU).
Following this, current and former students of mathematics department submitted a memorandum to VC.
Sources informed that, there are many qualified candidates for the post. Some 1st class 1st students are also among the candidates. But Rita Mojumder, wife of former pro-vc Dr. Purnendu Gain was recommended for the post. She got her degree from National University.
Students declared that, if there demand isn’t fulfilled; they will go for harder protest like class abstention etc. Discipline head Professor Md. Rafiqul Islam accepted the truth.
Member of Appointment Board and Dean of Science, Engineering and Technology School Professor Dr. Md. Harunur Rashid Khan said, “I have expressed my objection against this in the Board meeting. I will state my objection in the syndicate meeting too.”
