BRUR Teachers Formed Human Chain

Teachers of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) under the banner of Muktijuddher Chetonay Progotisheel Shikkhak Samaj (MCPSS) have stoutly protested at conspiracies being hatched against public universities.
They observed their protest program from 11am to 12pm on July 21, 2012. Some 75 teachers out of 88 of BRUR formed a human chain at that time. They also arranged an emergency meeting protesting at the conspiracies being hatched by vested quarters against some public universities including BRUR in recent times.
With MCPSS convener professor Dr. Sarifa Salowa Dina in the chair, its member-secretary Rafiul Azam Khan conducted the emergency meeting in the auditorium of Academic Building on the campus after the human chain program.
Steering committee members of MCPSS Dr. Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Farid-Ul Islam, Shimul Mahmud, Abu Md Iqbal Rumi Shah, Mohammad Morshed Hossain, Ferdous Rahman, addressed the meeting among others.
