BUET Teachers Embarrassed Me - Nahid

Agitating teachers of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) vowed to continue their demonstration until both the vice-chancellor (VC) and pro vice-chancellor quit their posts or removed by the government.
The teachers, as usual, will stage a two-hour sit-in from 11:00am on July 21, 2012 in front of the council building of BUET.
Earlier, education minister Nurul Islam Nahid on July 19, 2012 told the media that, BUET teachers did not show respect to his initiative to resolve the ongoing crisis rather embarrassed him and others who were present in the meeting by deciding to resign en masse.
The teachers could show respect in real not only to him but also to all if they would not take such a decision right after the meeting, Nahid added.
The minister also called upon the teachers to end the crisis that they created by threatening to resign en masse.
