Daylong Strike on 19th July at DU

Demanding the election of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU), Dhaka University Shikkharthi Odhikar Moncho has declared a full day strike on 19th July, 2012 at DU campus.
However, hundreds of general students of DU, under the banner of the same student's organization laid siege in front of the Vice-chancellor's office for two hours demanding announcement of Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) election schedule.
On Thursday, the general students' body gave the university authority a 72-hour ultimatum for announcing the schedule of DUCSU election.
It also submitted a memorandum to the VC Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique on the day.
