6 Students of DU Awarded Dean's Award

Faculty of Pharmacy of Dhaka University (DU) conferred Dean's Award on six students for their outstanding results in B. Pharm (honors) examination in 2010 & 2011. Moreover, 4 students were awarded Sardar Join Uddin Gold Medal for their outstanding result in B. Pharm (honors) examination in 2010 & 2011 and 6 students were given Bodrunnesa Gofur Memorial Trust Fund Scholarship for their outstanding result in different years exam.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over the crests, gold medals and certificates to the students at a function which held at TSC on Sunday. He was the chief guest of the award giving ceremony.
The program was presided over by Dean of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. A B M Faruk. Moreover, Pro-VC (Education) Prof. Dr. Nasrin Ahmed and Treasurer Prof. Dr. Kamal Uddin were also present as the special guest in the award giving ceremony.
The awardees of Dean’s Award 2010 are Redwan Islam, Abdullah Al Faysal, Farah Shahzabin and the awardees of Dean's Award 2011 are Md. Nazmul Hossain Apu, Sadia Nur and Md. Shahdat Hossain.
The Gold medal awardees for 2010 are Redwan Islam & Farah Shahzabin and for 2011 are Iftekhar Ahmed & Maliha Tabassum Munir.
Moreover, Fabliha Ahmed Chowdhury, Nur Ahmed Nahid & Iftekhar Ahmed got scholarship for 2010 and Fahad Imtiaz Rahman, Fabliha Ahmed Chowdhury, Sabiha Chowdhury got scholarship for 2011.
