Teachers of BUET Begining Their Protest Program Again

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology Teachers Association (BUETTA) is going to begin their demonstration on June 30 demanding the resignation of its vice chancellor and pro vice chancellor.
If their demand isn’t met, they will continue further protest in the following month, they declared.
BUET VC Prof Nazrul Islam said, `All allegations raised against me are false and baseless`.
Earlier, BUETTA postponed academic activities from April 7 to May 5 demanding the resignation of BUET VC and Pro VC Prof M Habibur Rahman bringing some 16 allegations against them. The teachers resumed classes after the prime minister`s assurance of proper action regarding the matter.
