Intruders Abused Proctor and 8 Teachers of PUST

On last Wednesday, proctor, 8 teachers and officials of Pabna University of Science & Technology (PUST) were abused by intruders. Teachers and officials claimed that, this incidence happened in front of police.
Sources informed that, a group of intruders went to the administrative building of PUST and abused 8 teachers and officials of PUST including the proctor. Police was deployed at that time, but they did nothing to stop them. They observed the whole thing as viewer.
Accepting the truth the VC of PUST Prof. Dr. Mozaffar Hossain said, `The process is going on to organize a meeting for discussion about the demand of the staffs. It is regretful that, some intruders abused the proctor and teachers in such time. `
The incidence is informed to the state minister for home. Lawful actions will be taken against this incidence. – He added.
Moreover, a 3-member committee headed by Chairman of Math Department Rashed Kabir has been formed to investigate the attack on a staff of PUST.
Staffs of Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) began their indefinite work abstention yesterday, demanding removal of the proctor and two assistant proctors for their failure to take action during the assault of an employee by a few students of the university.
