IUB Wins TIB-DMCDC Anti-Corruption Debate Festival 2012

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has became the champion of TIB-DMCDC Anti-Corruption Debate Festival 2012 which held on the Dhaka Medical College campus recently.
The winning Team 1 of the university comprised Sajid Safwan and Hashmi Rafsanjani, who was also adjudged the Best Speaker of the tournament.
Dhaka Medical College Debating Club (DMCDC) organized the festival in collaboration with Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB).
The North South University (NSU), Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University, Islamic University of Technology (IUT), East West University, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet), Dhaka Medical College and some other institutions took part in the debate festival.
Debating on matters of corruption and transparency, the tournament saw fierce exchange of arguments on matters of public policy, media and foreign development aid disbursements.
