Errors in B Unit Admission Test Paper
|
At least ten errors were found on the question papers of Law Faculty (B-unit) in the 1st year honors admission test of Rajshahi University (RU) held on October 7, 2012.
Around 24,631 students took part in the B-unit admission tests which were taken in two shifts (first shift held on the basis of odd roll numbers and the second was held on paired roll numbers) from 1:00-2:00 pm and 4:00-5:00 pm respectively. The mistakes were found on the question paper designated for the second shift.
Students claimed that, teachers killed at least 10 minutes of test time in correcting those mistakes. But no extra times were given at the end.
The students said the errors found on the question set no-5, where 'd' was replaced wrongly by 'c' twice in the question no-1. In the serial number of questions, number 40 came after 13 when it was supposed to be 14. The question no 35 were mentioned twice.
"The errors were corrected immediately once found," said Professor Biswajit Chandra, dean of law faculty.
