The Alumni Association of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) organize the BUET Grand Reunion on January 06, 2017 (Friday).

A press conference at the Sagar-Rooney Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on January 04, 2016 (Wednesday) confirmed that.

According to the press conference, Vice-Chancellor of BUET Dr. Saiful Islam; Professor of Electrical Engineering department of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada Dr. Md. Azizur Rahman including the former alumnus will attend the program at the BUET Playground.

Account BenefitThe organizers said, the day-long program contains reception for talented children of BUET alumni members, crests awarding to the newly graduated BUET students, sports and cultural events in addition to the inaugurating ceremony.

The press conference was attended by the president of BUET Alumni Association Professor Jamilur Reza Chowdhury and general secretary Dr. Sadequl Islam Bhuiyan.
