Jagannath University Gives Scholarship to 61 Students

61 JnU students get scholarship

Scholarships have been given to the 61 poor and meritorious students of Jagannath University (JnU). The scholarship was given by the Zakat and Welfare Fund formed in collaboration with teachers and officials of JnU.

The University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman handed over the scholarships to the students in a ceremony at the Central Auditorium of the University on December 04, 2016 (Sunday).

In his chief guest speech Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman said, "We are happy to give these scholarships to the poor and meritorious students.

Account BenefitSuch co-operation will increase the morale of the poor & meritorious students and they will be able to play an important role after ending their academic life.

Treasurer Professor Md. Selim Bhuiyan spoke as the special guest on the occasion. The President of Zakat-Fund, JnUP Professor Dr. Md. Ainul Islam presided over the program while General Secretary Dr. Mustafa Hassan moderated the program.

The Registrar Engineer Md. Ohidujjaman, chairman of different department, teachers, officials and scholarship receiving students were present at the time.
