DU Technology unit result

Result of the first year Admission Test of Technology Unit under Dhaka University (DU) for the academic session 2016-17 has been published.

4 thousand 859 student participated in the admission test out of a total of 5 thousand 891 students seeking admission. Among them, 4 thousand 201 students were passed. The pass rate is 86.04 percent.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique announced the results at the central admission office of the University on November 21, 2016 (Monday).

Details about the exam results and admission process can be found at the university website: (admission.eis.du.ac.bd). In addition, aspirants can get the result through a reply SMS after sending a SMS from any mobile phone by typing: DU(Space)TEC(Space)Roll No. and send it to 16321 number.

The merit list from 1 to 500, those who passed the exam has been asked to contact Mymensingh Engineering College and Faridpur Engineering College for admission between 27 November and 8 December 2016.

Account BenefitOn the other hand, the merit list from 1 to 4201, those who passed the exam has been asked to contact National Institute of Textile Engineering and Shyamoli Textile Engineering College for admission between 27 November and 27 December 2016.

The number of seats in the unit is 600. A total of 120 seats are available in Mymensingh Engineering College, 120 seats in Faridpur Engineering College, 280 seats in National Institute of Textile Engineering, 80 seats in Shyamoli Textile Engineering College.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam and convener of online admission committee Professor Dr. Hasibur Rashid were also present on the occasion.
