Career seminar held at BU

A day-long career related seminar was organized at the Bangladesh University (BU) auditorium on October 27, 2016 (Thursday).

Acting Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Golam Rahman was present as the chief guest at the seminar hosted by Bangladesh University.

Former Joint Secretary Mr. AHM Afzal Hossain presented the keynote paper on the "Road to Career Planning". Around 200 students from various departments of Bangladesh University took part in the seminar.

Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Professor Dr. Mohammad Imamuddin; Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics Professor Dr. Ashraf Uddin Chowdhury; Arts, Social Sciences and Law Faculty Dean Professor Mostafa Kamaluddin; BU Registrar Major (ret.) Niaz Mohammad Khan; student welfare advisor Mr. Mahfuzul Haque were present at the seminar among others.

Account BenefitThe seminar was conducted by the teacher of English Department Sheikh Mohammad Alauddin. Speakers at the seminar emphasized on interview techniques, management of the current job market and dos of students to increase the skills. In addition, the speakers also provide various suggestions for being qualified and efficient in keeping with the developed countries.
