Education Fair at Canadian University of Bangladesh

Education Fair ongoing at CUB

The Education Fair of Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) was held for the second day on August 28, 2016. The Honorable Minister of Commerce Mr. Tofael Ahmed inaugurated the fair on August 27.

All the speakers were encouraged to see the initiative taken by Canadian University of Bangladesh and especially the opportunity created for students to transfer credit to Canadian Universities for higher education.

According to AK Azad Chowdhury, "In 21st century, society wants global workforce from the university. Worldwide top universities are providing global workforce for the university. Canadian University of Bangladesh, a piece of Canada in Bangladesh is trying to produce workforce not only for Bangladesh but also for global society. Soon, Canadian University of Bangladesh will be the 21st century University in truest term."

Account BenefitDr. Atiur Rahman also spoke on the occasion. He was very much satisfied to see the beginning made by the Canadian University of Bangladesh. He was happy to note that the CUB will be able to bridge the education in Canada and preparing our students for that level of advanced education that can meet the challenges of 21st century.

CUB Founder Mr. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat said that we are focusing on Applied Knowledge for National Development. Trustee member Anjuman Ara Shaheed, Raheeb Chowdhury and Vice-Chancellor William H. Derrenger from the Canadian University were also present.
