Polytechnic Diploma Admission 2016-17 Deadline Extended

Polytechnic admission deadline extended

Polytechnic Diploma-in-Engineering admission 2016-17 deadline has been extended. Students have to apply online for 1st and 2nd shift together.

Online application was started from May 30, 2016. Previously, the deadline was June 12, 2016. One can get Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering admission circular 2016-17 on BTEB website: (www.bteb.gov.bd).

Now the deadline has been changed to June 20, 2016 (Monday). The admission result 2016-17 will be published on June 26, 2016 (Sunday). Admission from the 1st Merit List will be held from June 27 to June 30, 2016. Admission from the Waiting List will be held from July 2 to July 25, 2016. Classes will be started on August 16, 2016.

Account BenefitTo apply in government polytechnic institutes for Diploma Courses a student must have minimum GPA 3.50 with minimum GP 3:00 in Mathematics/Higher Mathematics in SSC/Equivalent exams passing in 2014/2015/2016. To apply in non government polytechnic institutes a student should have minimum GPA 2.50 SSC/Equivalent exam passing from 2007-2016.

No admission test will be held for Polytechnic Diploma admission. Candidates will be selected on the basis of SSC/Equivalent result. The online application fee is Tk. 150/- for Government Polytechnic Institutes and Tk. 235/- for Non-Government Polytechnic Institutes.
