Seminar on 'Prophetic Medicine' Held at DIU

Seminar held at DIU

A daylong seminar on "Introducing Prophetic Medicine in the Public Health Sector of Bangladesh" was held at the auditorium of Daffodil International University (DIU) on April 25, 2016.

The Department of Pharmacy of DIU has organized the event, says a press release. DIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam was present at the seminar as the chief guest while Dr. Muhammad Musharraf Hussain, founder president of National Foundation of Prophetic Medicine, attended it as the keynote speaker.

Md. Aminul Islam, deputy director (production) of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh, consummated the session. Presided over by Professor Dr. Ahmad Ismail Mustafa, dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, the seminar was also addressed by Emeritus Professors Dr. Aminul Islam and Emeritus Professor Dr. M. Lutfor Rahman, Professor Dr. S.M. Abdur Rahman, advisor of the department, and Ferdous Khan, head of the department.
