Malaysian Chief Minister at AUB

Chief Minister of Perak State of Malaysian Dato Shri D. Raja Dr. Jambri Abdul Kadir has been awarded the Honoring Award on behalf of the Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB) for his success in state's poverty reduction.

The honorable founder and Vice-Chancellor of AUB Professor Dr. Abul Hasan Muhammad Sadiq handed the award to the Malaysian Chief Minister at the Ayesha Auditorium of AUB.

In addition, the honoring certificate and award also given to the collaborating organization 'Yayasan Bina Upaya (WBU)'. Dato Saarni Muhammad received the certificate and award on behalf of the WBU.

In his chief guest speech, Chief Minister of Perak State of Malaysian Dato Shri D. Raja Dr. Jambri Abdul Kadir said, "Receiving this award from Asian University is a pride for me. Through mentioning AUB VC as his father, he said, I have passed my student life as the direct student of AUB VC Sir. The true education I received from Sir encouraged me to ahead further. I would like to continue my next journey with the blessings from Sir."

Account BenefitAward ceremony was attended, among others, Dato Haji Rais Hussain accompanying the Chief Minister, AUB Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Muhammad Jafar Sadiq, AUB Registrar Professor Dr. Mohammed Saiful Islam including AUB different faculty dean, department heads, teachers, staffs and Malaysian guests.
