89 seats vacant at SAU

Thirty two students from the merit list of Bachelor 1st year admission process have been admitted on the last date at Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU).

A total of 411 students have been admitted this year. As a result, 89 students will be admitted from the waiting list. Registrar of the University Sheikh Rejaul Karim and section officer Rajib Basak confirmed that.

Among the enrolled students from merit list, 383 against 460 general seats, 20 against 25 freedom fighter quota seats, 3 against 5 dependant quota seats, 3 against 5 tribal quota seats, and 2 students against 5 horizon quota seats were admitted this year.

411 students were admitted against a total of 500 seats in the last day of merit list admission. As a result, 77 general seats are empty, 5 freedom fighter quota seats, 2 dependant quota seats, 2 tribal quota seats, and 3 horizon quota seats were vacant.

Account BenefitA total of 89 seats are left vacant, which will be filled from the waiting list on December 31, 2015. The waiting list candidates have to submit their admit cards at the registrar office by own hand within 2:00 pm on December 30, 2015.

The list of eligible candidates according to the merit order will be published on the same day. Detailed information regarding admission can be found at the University website (www.sau.edu.bd).
