Six New Departments Launched at BSMRSTU

New 6 departments at BSMRSTU

New 6 (six) departments are going to be added to the curriculum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU), Gopalganj from this year's 1st year BSc (Hons) admission tests.

The 6 new departments- Law, International Relations, Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Marketing, and Agriculture are going to be added to the current 14 departments of the university under 6 faculties. As a result, the admission tests if the University will be held in total 20 departments.

The admission test for newly launched academic department Biochemistry & Molecular Biology under the current session 2015-2016 will be held under the Faculty of Science; admission tests for Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, and Agriculture departments will be held under the Faculty of Biology; admission test of Marketing department will be held under the Faculty of Business Studies and the International Relations department's admission test will be held under the Faculty of Social Sciences
