Pollikabi debate competition at DU

The 7th Pollikabi Inter-club Debate Competition-1421 was started at the traditional Poet Jasim Uddin Hall of Dhaka University (DU).

An economist and Professor of Economics department of Dhaka University Dr. Abul Barakat was inaugurated the competition at the hall auditorium on August 26, 2015 (Wednesday). A showcase debate competition was arranged before this.

Kabi Jasim Uddin Hall Debating Club (KJHDC) has been organized this 4-day long competition with the participation of 40 leading educational institutions of the country. At the same time, the club celebrated two-decade anniversary of the club establishment.

Account BenefitHall Provost Dr. Md. Rahmat Ullah and former president of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ahsanul Islam were present as special guests at the opening ceremony. Professor of the Bangla department of Dhaka University Biswajit Ghosh gave the reminding speech.

Club moderator Shahidul Hasan delivered the welcome speech in the hosting of general secretary Rafiqul Islam while the club president Shahidul Islam presided over the program.
