Huge applications for medical admission

The application forms are submitted like storm for public and private medical and dental college admission. The number of students seeking admission has exceeded 50 thousand in just 5 days.

Within a short time, this more applications were never submitted in the past years. Health Department sources said, the online application taking was started on August 19, 2015 for the entrance exam of MBBS and BDS courses in the current academic session (2015-2016).

More than 55 thousand applications were submitted on till August 24, 2015 (Monday). The last date of application submission is September 01, 2015. The admission test will be held on September 18, 2015. The rules & regulations of application for the entrance exam can be found at the Health Ministry and Health Department's website.

There are a total of 3 thousand and 162 seats available at 29 public medical colleges and 5 thousand 325 seats are available at the private medical colleges across the country. On the other hand, a total of 532 seats are available at 9 public dental colleges & units and 280 seats are available at 24 private dental colleges in the country.
