NSTU to Hold 40th Death Anniversary of Bangabandhu

Month-long mourning events at NSTU

Various programs have been taken to hold at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) on the 40th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

These mourning programs were inaugurated on August 01, 2015. The Vice-Chancellor of NSTU Dr. Ohidujjaman was inaugurated the month-long national mourning day programs through hoisting black flag at 10:00 am.

In the meantime, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Abdul Hossain, chairman of different departments including the teachers, students, employees were present. On the other hand, necessary programs have been undertaken to celebrate the Mourning Day.

The programs include hoisting black flag, holding black batches, essay writing contest, a photography exhibition on the creator of Bangladesh's life and work, seminars, documentary exhibition, memorial publish, video exhibition based on his speech and tours, study circle on the unfinished autobiography of Bangabandhu, blood donation program, go Tungipara and pray at Bangabandhu's tomb, creating a sculpture of Bangabandhu and offering the tribute.

Account BenefitThe programs will be observed centrally and in every department, halls of the university. A committee headed by the Pro-VC was formed to complete all preparations of hosting these events.
