Int'l diploma program at UIU

International Diploma in Logistics and Transport program is jointly offered by United International University (UIU) and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), UK.

Candidates having minimum Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university/college will be eligible to apply. The certifi?cate is awarded by CILT, International - UK. The Institute's quali?fications are recognized internationally as a sign of knowledge and reliability.

The program is structured to be completed within 24 weeks of study while each course is to be completed within 12 weeks of study (including exam). The program consists of 4 (four) courses of 12 credit hours, each having 3 (three) credits.

The whole program is divided into 2 (two) terms and in each term, 2 (two) courses are required to cover. Students have to sit for 1 (one) formal examination for each course at the end part of each term.

Account BenefitTwo classes preferably on Friday and Saturday will be held ina week each with 3 (three) hours duration at UIU campus. Admission fee is Tk. 21,000/-. Tuition fees, Tk. 7,250/- per course. Total cost of the program, Tk. 50,000/- (Including the cost of four text books provided by CILT, UK).

Teaching methodology will include a combination of lectures, exercises, case studies, in-class assignments, projects, students' presentation, group work, field trips and presentation by guest speakers. All classes will be offered during evenings or on weekly holidays to accommodate and facilitate students who wish to complete the program on time. It will be a training based practical oriented program.
