SAU Eid Vacation Begins on the Day before its 15th Birthday

SAU Eid vacation begins

The Eid vacation begins at Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) from July 14 2015, a day before the 14th anniversary of the university.

The vacation is starts from July 14, 2015 and will be ended on July 25, 2015. All academic and administrative activities will be closed during this 12-day long vacation.

Public Relations Officer of the University Md. Bashirul Islam has confirmed the information. However, the residential halls will remain open this year for the benefit of students.

The oldest agricultural institution of South Asia will be completed 14 years of walking on the day after the vacation begins. July 15, 2001, the then prime minister laid the foundation stone of Sher Bengali Agricultural University as a full-fledged public university.

Account BenefitDirector of student counseling and guidance of the university Dr. Sekendar Ali said, the founding anniversary was not celebrated vastly after the year 2009. But, there is no arrangement this year for the founding anniversary due to the Eid vacation.
