Get Scholarship on Vocational Training

Mohammed Rezaul Karim was in the very critical situation after failing to take higher education in absence needed money.

But, today he is working at a company with 20,000/- of salary by the welfare of six month long free training on Welding and Fabrication from IDB-BISEW.

Thus, the Islamic Development Bank and Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Education Waqf (IDB-BISEW) project making a silent revolution from a decade by creating technical manpower.

Islamic Development Bank-Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Educational Wakf (IDB-BISEW) offers six-month long training on vocational courses to be a professional.

Training courses:
The vocational Training courses are- Electrical Works, Electronics, Machinist, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, and Welding and Fabrication etc.

Application Procedure:
One can collect application form of IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship from Islamic Bank Bangladesh Ltd. (any branch) by paying Tk. 100/-only.

Requirement for the Scholarship:
By faith Muslim; Must be citizen of Bangladesh; Must have at least a graduation or Fazil degree, or a diploma in Civil Engineering/Survey/Architecture; Age not more than 25; Having GPA 2.25 or second class both in SSC and HSC.

Persons who cannot submit application:
Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent engineering, Applied Physics & Electronics, Medicine, Pharmacy, Bio-Chemistry, B.Ed, Leather Technology etc.

Account BenefitFacility of the Scholarship:
Every student get a monthly scholarship Tk. 2,000/- only.

Procedure of Selection:
A written and viva exam will be held in Dhaka and Chittagong. The questions will be MCQ category from English and Math to justify general skillfulness. Selected candidates list for written exam will be published in the daily Newspaper and the IDB-BISEW IT official website. Application form should be submitted by postal mail or in their office directly. One can download the total scholarship project information and get admission test & viva result from the IDB-BISEW official website.

The scholarship would cover the entire tuition fees for each courses offered. It also covers Vendor Certification examination fee that a candidate needs to pass in order to successfully complete the course. The scholarship would not cover the cost to be incurred by the candidate for food and accommodation during the training.

The student intake would take place between 3 to 4 times in a project year. Candidates may apply in multiple intakes if unsuccessful in earlier attempts. A person who has already passed Bachelor's (Pass Course/Honors) or Master's degree examination can apply for the scholarship.
