New Lab Inauguration and Freshers Reception at Varendra University

New EEE Lab at Varendra University

A new Lab by spending nearly 30 lakh taka has been inaugurated at Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) department at the first private university of Rajshahi division, Varendra University (VU).

Fresher's Reception for the current summer semester students was also held. Inauguration ceremony for new Lab and fresher's reception was organized on May 21, 2015 (Thursday).

Varendra University adviser Professor M. Saidur Rahman Khan was the chief guest while coordinator of EEE Department Professor Dr. Shabbir Ahmed presided over the program.

Account BenefitVice-Chancellor of Varendra University Professor Dr. Nurul Hossain Chowdhury was the special guest. Registrar (Acting) of the university Shameem Ahsan Pervez, Computer Science and Engineering Department Professor of RUET Dr. Shahid-uz-Zaman were present at the ceremony.

Coordinator of EEE Department Professor Dr. Shabbir Ahmed said, the students will be able to examine practically at the new lab with induction motor, DC motor, DC generator, synchronous generator and various types of electrical motors.
