Regular classes in private universities

Association of Non-Government Universities of Bangladesh (ANUB) has taken a decision to start regular classes in the private universities from the first day of March 2015.

The university will take appropriate action against anyone interfering with this. The decision was taken at an emergency meeting in Gulshan Club on February 27, 2015 while president of the Association of Non-Government Universities of Bangladesh, Sheikh Kabir Hossain presided over the meeting.

Association secretary Mosaddek Hossain said almost four lakh students are studying at private universities. Which is 64 percent of the country's higher education students. These students will put a role in the country's future development.

Account BenefitSome rowdy students are attempting to create a barrier against the normal activities of some universities behest of outsiders.

The meeting unanimously decided, if a student hindering the normal educational activities of the university, then the university will take legal action against the student for break discipline. If a student is expelled from a university, the student cannot be admitted in the other university.

It was also decided in the meeting, all private universities will continue their normal educational activities regularly from March 01, 2015.
