First Year Defeated against the Batting Storm of Masters Team

Masters team champion at JUST

Final match of Inter-department Cricket Tournament was held on the initiative of Nutrition and Food Technology Department of Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST).

First year (2nd semester) students of Nutrition and Food Technology Department and Masters level students of the same department took part in the final match of the tournament. First year student's team was defeated against the batting storm of Masters Team.

Masters Team decided to bat first after won the toss. Masters Team threw a huge target of 130 runs to the opposition team by facing 16 Overs and lost 5 wickets.

Players of first year team scored 110 runs against the huge target by losing all the wickets before ending the Overs and vanquished to Masters Team.

Account BenefitMasters level students were celebrating the joy in the campus after winning the final match. First-year students also celebrating the joy of become runners-up by emerald enthusiasm from the team manager Panna, although they simply could not accept the defeat.

Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Sheikh Mizanur Rahman; Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Food Technology Department and the proctor of the university, Ashrafujjaman Zahid were present at the final match of the tournament.
