SAU Alumni Association in USA

Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University Alumni Association has emerged as the model organization. Most of its members are working in the various government organizations of USA.

The government organizations including Homeland Security, USDA, IRS, IT Department, New York City Health Department, New York City Environment Protection, MTA, Education, NYPD, Housing and HR.

The organization was debuted in a discussion meeting titled "Mohan Ekush O Amader Notun Projonmo", moderated by the journalist Manwarul Islam. On 14th February 2015, Sher Bengali Agricultural University Alumni organized the discussion at Jackson Heights.

General Secretary of the organization, Mir Farid Uddin Ahmed chaired the program. Consul General Shamim Ahsan and and Ekushey medalist, Jamal Uddin Hossain was present as the chief and special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Shamim Ahsan said in his chief guest speech, agronomists are working efficiently in country and abroad by earning a degree from Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University. I am so glad and proud of their success in America. Every organization abroad should take the success and activities of Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University Alumni Association as an example.
